Purpose and intended participants
The initiative aims to improve safety and opportunities for women and adolescent girls at risk of violence or exploitation, survivors of violence and vulnerable mothers. Children, families and community leaders would benefit from prevention and protection awareness.
Neighbourhoods and participant numbers will be defined through local needs assessment and confirmation of partner capacity. Participation would follow clear selection criteria, confidentiality and age-appropriate safeguarding.
Proposed activities
Community workshops would explain rights, violence prevention, child protection and sexual and reproductive health. Women and girls would receive information on available services and, where appropriate, confidential referral to qualified providers.
Practical training would cover financial literacy, entrepreneurship and livelihood skills. Peer support and leadership activities would strengthen participation in community decisions. Work with caregivers and leaders would address harmful practices and safer environments.
Proposed implementation period
The proposed 24-month period is January 2027 to December 2028, subject to funding and delivery readiness. The first three months would cover needs assessment, partner agreements, safeguarding and participant selection.
Months 4–21 would focus on programme activities and monitoring. The final three months would cover evaluation, financial reporting and planning for continuity. Timing may be adjusted to the date of any funding agreement.
Current status and how to help
This is a proposed programme, not a confirmed funded operation. We welcome local women's associations, service providers, volunteers and donors who can contribute expertise or resources. No foundation is presented as a confirmed funder.
Support can help develop clearly budgeted educational materials, workshops, referral coordination and practical skills activities. Before a restricted donation or partnership, contact us to agree on intended use and reporting.
How results will be assessed
Monitoring would record participation, learning, referral accessibility and skills gained, with consent and privacy protections. Reports would use aggregated data and verified evidence, not personal survivor stories or identifiable case details.
