AGAPE ACTION NORWAY

Our reach: Norway and the world

Based in Norway, Agape Action Norway develops community projects in Norway and internationally. Our mission is shaped by people’s needs, not limited to a single country or city.

A shared mission across communities

Education, protection, health awareness and inclusion guide our projects wherever we work. We aim to support women, girls, children, young people and vulnerable households through community participation and cooperation.

Our international scope is an approach to project development, not a claim that we have offices or funded programmes in every country. Each location requires an agreed project, appropriate partners, resources and a clear implementation plan.

Projects in Norway

In Norway, our project development includes community inclusion, youth mentoring, learning opportunities, courses for women and girls, and practical support for people facing hardship. Oslo provides a starting point for local engagement, while cooperation elsewhere is developed around local needs.

We welcome Norwegian associations, municipalities, community groups and volunteers interested in building practical projects with clear responsibilities. Our Norway project page presents the current proposals.

International project development

Internationally, our priorities include access to learning, protection from violence and exploitation, health awareness, livelihood skills and community solidarity. We welcome dialogue with qualified organizations working in these areas in different countries.

The initiative being developed in Kinshasa, DR Congo, is one specific project example within this wider mission. It does not define the geographical limits of Agape. Further locations and activities will be described as project details are confirmed.

How we build a project

Project development begins with listening to communities and identifying needs, intended participants and existing services. We then assess potential partners, safeguarding, local requirements, budget and delivery capacity.

Before implementation, responsibilities, funding, a timeline and measurable objectives must be agreed. Monitoring and reporting should show what was delivered and what changed, using verified information and protecting participant privacy.

Propose a partnership

Tell us your country or region, your organization, the community needs you have identified and how your proposed cooperation relates to education, protection, health awareness or inclusion. Include your relevant experience and the resources or expertise you could contribute.

Our team will discuss whether a feasible project can be developed. An enquiry does not automatically establish a partnership or guarantee funding. Use our contact page to begin the conversation.
